How to get more customers ?

Customers are the blood of our business.

Referral is the name of the game. I would assume you have used your warm market correctly, used door hangers and got already customers. Assuming you have a great product you are marketing, you end up with plenty of satisfied customers already.

You call your customers as usual to provide excellent customer service because this what make the difference in our business, and you ask them about 2-3 names of people that they would like you to share the products information with. Your customers like you , like the products that you introduced them to, they want to help you. Obviously, if you are dealing with them as a pushy, aggressive salesman you ain't gettin any referrals! I would assume you are not using this dumb approach. You get from each customer 2-3 referrals : name, address and phone number.

You "mail" not "E-mail" those people a post-card. The post-card simply tell them that "X" thought you would like to share with them some information and please give them couple of minutes of your time. Then you call this person, when you call them do not ask them if they have received your post-card, ask them if they remember it and ask them for couple of minutes of their time. Then prospect through them, tell them that you introduced this amazing product to their friend and give testimonials... And she thought you may know someone who may be interested or may benefit from this product, if they are interested they will buy from you, if not they will gladly refer other people to you because you called them in a friendly manner asking for help in a nice way, no pushy salesman attitude. Then you may get even more customers, more referrals that gets you busy for long time...
By the way, some of them would probably called this mutual friend and got great testimonial from them and they are hot, ready, awaiting to buy from you and expecting your call!

Local mailings for free

I got this idea from the famous Copy writer Gary Halbert.

Some people call it joint Ventures. I spoke with a business owner in town , this gentleman job is to place water filters in people's houses. I offered him to put an insert in his mailings to his clients. The insert is going to be a flyer for my health product that I market.

He is mailing dozens and dozens of bills to his clients, his clients are awaiting for his bills and they are not going to throw his mail away. My marketing message is going to arrive to the eyes of his list of people. I assume those people are interested in their health and willing to pay money for their health, therefore this is 'targeted marketing' with minimal expenses to me. I am going to handle the questions and the orders, orders will be placed under his name and I will sign him up under me for only 30$.

It is a win win situation.

I am going to test with 100-200 flyers, if it works I will keep going and I will target other businesses in town in the future.

In order for this to work, you need a small flyer that won't weigh much, and at the same time the flyer should be written by a Copy writter, to elicit curioisty and interest and therefore elicit the call to you.

I have tried mailings before with Orenda and I lost lots of money, and that's why :

1-I listened to some stupid Upline who has no idea about Marketing.
2-The enveloppe was very heavy with lots of materials, non attractive. I mailed about 800 enveloppes with zero response back! Painful experience.
3-It was completely non targeted!

Door Hangers as a tool for local lead generating

Door Hangers:

Door Hangers if used appropriately are the easiest, cheapest lead generating techniques. People can not ignore door hangers and when done locally people are not as skeptical.

1-You obviously need a killer brochure or testimonial brochure to hang.
2-You need to creat 'the urgency' to buy or act, otherwise people tend to procrastinate. The urgency is easily created by adding a coupon with a discount "for limited time till xxxx, 5$ discount on the product X"
3- Add a personal letter asking for help and for refferals. Example "Dear Neighbor, I would like to introduce you to an amazing product with your personal testimonials.., I would appreciate passing this brochure to whom may be interested, or whom may benefit from this product"
4-NEVER use door hangers to lead with your business opportunity.
5-If you have the phone number of your neighbor, just call them and "propspect through" them, ask them if they know anyone who may benefit from your product. That's rejection free.

It is about sharing your story, don't sell!

MLM secret #3 Local lead generation

Generate your own leads either locally or nation wide is your best option. Buying leads is not the way to do the business for most part timers unless the price is reasonable and you are aware of how eaxctly they are generated.

How do you generate your own local leads ?


1-Drop cards
2-Mini billboards
3-Car signs
4-Welcome Wagons
5-Post cards
6-Local newspaper ads
7-Local flyers

Most of the local advertisement should be very low cost to be cost effective.
Each technique can be beneficial if done appropriately, if done inappropriately, it will be a waste of time and energy.

The rule of gold is: get some customers through warm market, referrals then you invest this money in your advertising compaign. You should almost never use your own money to advertise! This is how people lose money in their business instead of making money.
